Wood bookend set of 2, featuring illustration of Mary Church Terrell, a pioneering African American civil rights activist, educator and suffragist who championed racial and gender equality throughout her life.
Includes our original Mary Church Terrell illustration on one bookend, paired with a second bookend featuring her popular quote, "And so, lifting as we climb, onward and upward we go."
Two wood blocks, each sized 3.5” wide x 5” tall x 3.5” deep. Each weighs a little over 1 lb.
Image transferred by hand to wood. Due to the handmade nature of our art, all images will have a distressed look (where the underlying white paint shows through the image), with slight variations on the amount and location of distressing. By its nature, the wood we use for our bookends contains various knots and imperfections. Not all bookends will be perfectly flat on all sides.
Bookends are packaged together with ARCHd paper sleeve.
