More about Hayley: Hayley Arceneaux is a physician assistant at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a career she committed to at age ten, after surviving pediatric bone cancer. She served as an ambassador for the hospital when she joined the first all-civilian orbital space mission, Inspiration 4, in September 2021, and spent three days in orbit. At age 29 she became the youngest American in space, the first pediatric cancer survivor, and the first astronaut with a prosthetic body part. She hails from Louisiana but is now living in Memphis, TN with her Aussie Doodle, Scarlett. She loves traveling (she has now visited all 7 continents) and exploring the beautiful planet she gained a unique perspective of from space.

Event Parking: Metered street parking is available on a first-come basis. The most convenient parking garage is the Brinkley Plaza Garage (in the Shrine Building across the street). The garage address is 20 S Front St. The entrance to the Brinkley Plaza Garage faces the river. If you pull up and the white gate is closed that does NOT mean the garage is closed. Proceed to the ticket machine and it will open after you get your ticket. Make sure to TAKE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU so you can re-enter in the alley where you came out of the elevator. The rates start at $4 for 0-2 hours and go up to $10 for 6+ hours. After parking, proceed to the elevator in the back corner, closest to Monroe. When you come out of the elevator (this is where you will re-enter with your ticket later), go right in the alley and cross Monroe Ave. to Bar Dog. Then, walk towards the river to our shop on the left.

In collaboration with A Tour of Possibilities (ATOP) and Stephanie Wade of 492 Vance, LLC, we have curated this tour to be more than just a series of bus stops; it is a movement dedicated to inspiring and igniting positive change in people from all walks of life. Each tour group of 10 will visit 5 women-owned businesses throughout downtown and three historic sites centered around women’s history. Even more women-owned businesses will be referenced and featured in various parts of the tour.
