Bring a unique elegance and timeless piece of history to your home with these Ida B. Wells Art Marble Coasters. Featuring art from the late civil rights icon, these coasters will bring both beauty and inspiration to your surfaces. Perfect for protecting your surfaces in style.
Ida B. Wells, prominent journalist, activist, and researcher during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, applied her journalistic expertise to reveal the struggles of African Americans throughout the South. Moreover, she brought her message to foreign audiences, uncovering cases of lynching to the world. Honor her legacy with these marble coasters, featuring her famous quote, "The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them."

Due to the handmade nature of our art, all images will have a distressed look (where the underlying coaster shows through the image), with slight variations on the amount and location of distressing. Characteristics of the natural stone used for our coasters include variances in shade, color and marble pattern. The edges and backs of the tiles are roughed and antiqued.
Each tile includes four felt tip backers to prevent scratching against furniture or other surfaces. Coaster sets are packaged in a branded box with clear top.
